I take on a limited number of bespoke commissions each year for commercial clients, allowing each project the time and creative focus it deserves.
A commission may start with a musical reference, a cultural touchpoint, the atmosphere of a particular time, or a creative concept that calls for a distinctive expression within a space.
I translate this into original surface pattern and interior design applications — bespoke fabrics, statement wallpapers and one-off pieces for hospitality settings, music venues, brand spaces and commercial interiors.
All designs begin as original drawings rather than copyrighted imagery, and each commission is developed collaboratively and considered carefully.

How a commission works
From first brief to installed work — here's what to expect.
Send a brief
Email me or fill in the form below. The more I know up front the better — the space, the brand or property, any creative reference, project scale and rough timeline. Even an early-stage idea is welcome.
Discovery conversation
I'll come back to you within 3 working days. We'll have a proper conversation — by email, phone, or video — to make sure I fully understand your vision before any drawing begins.
Design proposal & quote
I'll put together a written proposal with a design direction, material options, timescales, and a full quote. No surprises, no hidden costs. You'll approve everything before we proceed.
Design & revisions
Once you've confirmed and paid the deposit, I start drawing. You'll see the design at each key stage and have the opportunity to feed back. Commissions include up to two rounds of revisions.
Production & delivery
Once you've signed off the final design, it goes to production. I work with trusted UK printers and upholsterers. Lead times vary by project — typically 4–10 weeks from sign-off.
Installation & handover
The finished work is delivered or installed in your space. Where exclusivity has been agreed, the design stays with your project — never reproduced or sold elsewhere.

Pricing depends on scope, complexity and scale. The figures below are starting points to help you plan a brief — final quotes are provided after a discovery conversation.
Custom Fabric Design

All commissions require a 50% deposit to begin. The balance is due before production. Fabric printing costs are in addition to design fees for fabric-only commissions.
