Life as we know it has been turned upside down as the impact of COVID-19 ripples through our lives, homes, and our businesses. For me, it has meant that the Isaac’s Bazaar online shop launch has been delayed for a few months as we’ve adjusted to the new working at home work-life balance [insert your own expletive here], and suppliers have been temporarily closed. For many others, the effects have been devastating.
At the heart of Isaac’s Bazaar has always been the desire to help those most in need. With that in mind, I have decided to add an exclusive print to our debut collection with 100% of the proceeds going to The Whitechapel Centre.
The Whitechapel Centre is the leading homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool region, working with people who are sleeping rough, living in hostels or struggling to manage their accommodation. It’s always been my plan to support The Whitechapel Centre, with an aim to support our homeless communities as I help my customers adorn their homes. With job uncertainty for many, and a significant predicted increase in people living below the poverty line in post-corona lockdown Britain, support of homeless charities feels more vital than ever.
I designed this little number, with a nod to Mersey Paradise by The Stone Roses. 100% of the proceeds of this print will go to The Whitechapel Centre.
